Since Monday, Manuka students have had their heads down and pencils gripped tightly while wading their way through the biannual PAT tests. Testing, testing, testing... When will it stop?
Welcome to Riley who joined our class today. We're going to love having him in our class; already he is contributing ideas and following our key competencies. Good stuff!!!
Check out the slideshow of us making pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. They were so good that we ate far too many and felt a bit sick afterwards!
Thank you to the parents who provided fry pans and came along to help.
It's almost the end of Week 1 already. Miss Tomkinson is really impressed as everyone is using their key competencies without being prompted. We like earning stars and can't wait until next week when we have our first opportunity to spend them in our shop.
This week we have been getting to know each other. We wrote "Who am I?" stories and have had fun guessing who wrote each one.
We experienced our first Handle the Jandal challenge on Thursday and came second. It was tricky to get the purple tennis balls off the parachute while keeping the yellow ones on.
Phew, I'm exhausted! Bring on the weekend...
